8 Reasons Why the Pro-Life Movement is Right

8 REASONS WHY THE PRO-LIFE MOVEMENT is right

  1. MORALITY
People need to take a moral stand.  Compare a bumper sticker from 2012 to a slogan from 150 years ago in 1862.
----- 2012-----
 DON’T LIKE ABORTION?
DON’T HAVE ONE

-----1862-----
DON’T LIKE SLAVERY?
DON’T OWN ONE
These bumper stickers highlight the morality of the issues.  The PRO-CHOICE movement is nothing more than the POPULAR-SOVERIGNTRY movement of the 19th Century.  Blacks were always human beings, as Unborn Children are developing humans.

Remember that the U.S. Constitution explicitly labeled black Americans as 3/5th of a person for representation purposes in the U.S. House of Representatives.  Pro-Life Activists are today’s Abolitionists.  It’s a tough fight but it’s a fight for a more moral America.

  1. TEST YOUR HUMANITY
During what month do your become Pro-Life?  Nearly everyone is Pro-Life during some point during a woman’s pregnancy.  The difference comes down to which month.  Pro-Life people choose conception as their moment of human life being established.  Once you’re acknowledged a month in the development of a child you’ll see the argument in its clearest terms.  If someone refuses to pick a month that they become pro-life, then you’ve met a monster, because only a monster would sanction the abortion of a 9 month old fetus.

  1. TECHNOLOGY INTERVENES
OUR EYES NOW SEE THE TRUTH. Nearly 40 years ago in 1973 people could delude themselves thinking that the unborn child was not human - out of sight, out of mind.  Today thanks to medical technology we cannot turn our backs on the truth.  We can see the unborn child sucking his thumb, we can see the fingernails on the little hands, and we can see a developing heart beating.

VIABILITY: Thanks to advances in medical technology, pre-mature babies can achieve viability earlier in the pregnancy.  This fact now makes Roe more humane since 6-7 months or 24-28 weeks now is considered viable in the medical community.  THE TIME FRAME FOR VIABILITY IS SHRINKING AND WILL CONTINUE TO STRINK.

  1. IT’S A BODY WITHIN A BODY
The strongest argument within the Pro-Choice movement has always been that it’s A WOMEN’S BODY – KEEP YOUR HANDS AND YOUR LAWS OFF MY BODY.  This has been a rallying cry for many conservative women also especially well-educated and wealthy women.  Yet, even this argument crumbles with honest scrutiny.  The issue is more complicated than feminist doctrine admits since the issue is a body within a body – no one honestly disputes this premise since the issue driving the debate is the developing baby.  There would be no debate if a woman wanted to remove her pancreas or her gallbladder.  The true debate here is a balance - should a woman be compelled to carry her unborn child to birth?  The physical and emotional stress of the woman versus the life of the unborn baby.  This is not an easy call but the life of the unborn child that is, the Right to be Born trumps the right not to carry a child to birth.  It’s life, liberty, and then the pursuit of happiness.

5. CONTRACEPTION and RESPONSIBILITY
Contraception since 1960 has been evolving to the point of being nearly perfect.  Men and women combining contraceptive methods again increase reliability to nearly 100%.  If an unwanted pregnancy still occurs, the mother and the baby’s father need to be held accountable including jail time for irresponsible fathers.

6. HUMANE OPTONS
Today, humane options are available.  Subsidize the Teenage mother whether she is living with her young spouse or her parents.  Do not penalize a teenage mother who is living with the baby’s grandparents.  Encourage the decision of adoption and make the process more streamlined.

Provide counseling for teenage mothers and fathers to reflect the need for responsible behavior including abstinence plus fund tutoring for schooling.

7. THE ISSUE OF ABORTION CONCERNS WOMEN AND MEN
Part of today’s problem is the notion that the issue of abortion and pregnancy is exclusively a women’s issue.  This leftover propaganda from the 1970s Feminists’ Movement has allowed men in general and teenage boys in particular to wash their hands of producing unborn children.  MY BABY’S DADDY has never been funny even when Michelle Obama used it to introduce her husband to a rally in 2004.  Without men there is no pregnancy.  Hold all fathers accountable.

8. MORE AMERICANS ARE NOW PRO-LIFE
For all of these reasons, for the first time since 1973 more Americans now identify themselves as Pro-Life by nine percentage points according to the Gallup Poll of May 2012: 50% Pro-Life to 41% Pro-Choice.  Now the country can truly concentrate on preventing unwanted pregnancies, protecting teenage mothers, and saving the lives of our most vulnerable humans, the unborn children. The Fate of the Democratic Party

Dear Randy:

I opened up your posting and the link you recommended and I ready every single quote.  I was stunned by many of the hateful things that I read but some of it was well within the discourse of political thinking.  Sensational rhetoric is the stock and trade of many pundits.

I find the attack on Darwinism alarming only because I was raised to see it as fact but recently, I have seen serious scientists question many of the fundelmental pillars of that theory.  The main challenge comes from people who believe in Intelligent Design.  Even Thomas Jefferson and the rest of his Dietist friends believed in the clockmaker God.

I do not believe there is a cabal in the media but I do absolutely believe the media is biased to a liberal world view with a definite biased again religion in general and Christianity in general.  I am still in a state of shock over the Democratic National Convention from this past summer when the steering committee dropped any reference to God from its platform.  I think this is a clear sign that the atheists have found a home with the Democratic Party.

Only when enough political pressure was exerted by the president’s agents to put God back in the platform did the delegates do a voice vote to reinstate the word God in the platform.  It took three votes to do this and most observers I think will acknowledge that the Democratic delegates never achieved the 2/3rd margin.  There were even boos from the delegates over the whole process.

You see Randy the mainstream Democratic activists seem only to be interested in
1. Homosexuality to the point of endorsing Gay marriage.
2. Abortion rights with virtually no restrictions.
3. Removing God from the public square completely.

I see your party as a once magnificent tree that is rotting from the inside.  Do Democrats even know how to have fun and enjoy life?  Romney now leads the president by 7 points: 52-45% in the latest Gallup poll.  It seems that the country is deciding to let President Obama keep the change.

Except for you, I have seen virtually no one from the IDC blogosphere speaking about their faith.  The most peaceful man to every live was Jesus of Nazareth.  I also believe him to be the son of God, and a man of peace, justice, kindness, and righteousness.  I think Jesus goes beyond the labels of Democrat or Republican but I can guarantee you he doesn’t support the killing of innocent life via abortion.

Randy, I still respect you and consider you my friend.  I think that is why we can both debate each other in a civilized fashion.                                                       Word Total: 451

Why do Democrats completely ignore Biden's Scandalous Pass?

Dear Randy:

I actually know of your reference The American Taliban.  I too am an admirer of Aaron Sorkin’s anchor Will McAvoy, a moderate Republican who favors tight budgets and fair play.  The American Taliban comment was unfortunately an example of leftist elitism since the Tea Party is remarkable organic in its inception and membership.  It is not perfect, and to be sure, its members can say some stupid things – but that’s what you get in a democratic-republic.  Average and poorly educated citizens get to vent their own thoughts.  The reason is in the long run re are all better off when average citizens speak their minds.

Again, I came back to your and Bob’s complete lack of interest in stupid things from the left.  Joe Biden is the most gaffe prone politician since WWII.  In 1987 he plagiarized the heart of a speech by British Labour Leader Neil Kinnock.  This was while (Biden) was running for president.  True to form it dealt with a Democratic standard talking point: Class Warfare.  This was copied form the Daily Telegraph article from 2008.

NEIL KINNOCK at Welsh Labour Party conference May 1987:
"Why am I the first Kinnock in a thousand generations to be able to get to university? Was it because our predecessors were thick? Does anybody really think that they didn't get what we had because they didn't have the talent or the strength or the endurance or the commitment? Of course not. It was because there was no platform upon which they could stand"

JOE BIDEN IN Sept 1987 during his first presidential campaign:
"Why is it that Joe Biden is the first in his family ever to go a university? Why is it that my wife... is the first in her family to ever go to college? Is it because our fathers and mothers were not bright? ...Is it because they didn't work hard? My ancestors who worked in the coal mines of northeast Pennsylvania and would come after 12 hours and play football for four hours? It's because they didn't have a platform on which to stand."

I think that Al Rossi summed it up best when he said that he and his friends tend to only focus on the faults of the opposition.  It’s just human nature.  It certainly seems that way because Joe Biden should be an utter embarrassment but he has been given a permanent waiver from any real scrutiny from the left, unlike former Governor Sarah Palin.

The Double Standard of the Media: Joe Biden versus Sarah Palin

Dear Jim:

Thanks for taking the 53 seconds to view that video.  I think the authors of that video were just trying to point out the double standard the media routinely shows the president.  Texas Governor Rick Perry was panned as an idiot for his 53 seconds of trying to remember three federal agencies that he would eliminate.  The collective wisdom of the media was that his campaign was over.

This video was showing 53 seconds of Obama sounding like a prize fighter after the 12th round.  Many from the right, including myself, believe the president is too reliant on his teleprompter, as was shown in this video.  My complaint with Sarah Palin is that she resigned her governorship without due cause, and does not have the needed intellectual curiosity I want in a vice-president.

She is however, a true leader of people.  Citizens gravitate towards her and she is able to rally her constituents.  You and Bob Jones have conveniently given Joe Biden a pass.  He is not a leader and is just this side of a buffoon.  “Stand up State Senator Chuck Graham” the only problem was Mr. Graham is paralyzed.  In 2008 Biden said, Barack believes a three letter word is most important word of this campaign.  Then senator spells JOBS.
Chris Cillizza reported on October 2, 2012: “Vice President Joe Biden, speaking at a campaign event in Charlotte, North Carolina today, had this to say about the policies supported by former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney and Rep. Paul Ryan: ‘How they can justify … raising taxes on the middle class that has been buried the last four years?’ ”
The vice-president is a gaffe professional while former Governor Sarah Palin is still an amateur.

I’ll be interested in what you think of Tuesday’s rematch between the president and the governor.

KEITH FITZGERALD, ROSATO, AND SELECTIVE OUTRAGE

KEITH FITZGERALD AND ANA MARIA ROSATO

Ana Maria Rosato is the former spokesperson for the Keith Fitzgerald Campaign for Congress.  She recently resigned her very visible position after her potty mouth become know to the general public.  Her vulgar vitriolic postings are not an isolated incident among the liberal fringe of the Democratic Party.  Every Democrat from the president to Keith Fitzgerald had a predictable fur-ball over Rush Limbaugh's description of Sandra Fluke as a slut.  Yet no one from the president down to Keith Fitzgerald ever mentioned Ed Schultz of MSNBC when he aired the following statement on The Ed Schulz show radio air date, May 23, 2011.

“And what are the Republicans thinking about? They're not thinking about their next-door neighbor. They're just thinking about how much this is going to cost. President Obama is going to be visiting Joplin, Missouri, on Sunday. But you know what they're talking about? Like this right-wing slut, what's her name, Laura Ingraham? Yeah, she's a talk slut.”

This one hit home since Laura was a student at Glastonbury High School in CT during my first teaching assignment.  The Dartmouth grad received a JD before becoming one of the most brilliant political commentators on cable.  At least Schultz was suspended without pay by MSNBC.  And what happened in the liberal blogosphere?  Nothing.

Democratic consultant Kirsten Powers has penned two articles about über liberal Bill Maher when he posited “that the real name of then-20-year-old Bristol Palin’s book should be ‘Whoops, There’s a Dick in Me?’ ” Keith Fitzgerald was too busy sending roses to his union handlers to respond to Maher.

And of course, President Obama has declined to condemn TV comedian Bill Maher for calling former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin a “c*nt” during a live show in Dallas, Texas.  Really?  The president pleads that in criticizing Limbaugh he’s protecting his daughters from Rush Limbaugh’s big stumbling mouth calling a law student a slut but the president then at the same press conference refuses to protect Mrs. Palin when she is addressed as a c*nt.  Obviously, the president really is more interested in the $1 million dollars Bill Maher contributed to a friendly super-pac rather than women who might disagree with him politically.  To date, Keith Fitzgerald has not issued any public condemnation of Bill Maher.  Yet, he brings in Sandra Fluke to Sarasota and hires a rabid feminist as his contact with the general public.

Ana Maria Rosato, Keith Fitzgerald, Sandra Fluke, and Barack Obama, all use outrage selectively.  It’s time to send Mr. Fitzgerald and President Obama a message!
