Not only do I agree with you but I also agree with the pledge itself. Remember that this country was founded upon basic Judeo-Christian principals. Just listen to two passages from the Declaration of Independence: “…to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them…(w)e hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
Even Thomas Jefferson, the premiere Deist, believed in the God of the universe. We are of course a tolerate country and protect the rights of Muslims and atheists too.
